Moto Taxi Ride |
It is a common sight in the rural areas and many towns and cities of Peru to see Bajaj auto rickshaws, locally known as mototaxis, "taxi cholo" or "cholotaxi" lining up to pick up passengers as their fare is very low. They are also in the capital, Lima, but they are usually restricted to the poorer districts. In Iquitos, this vehicle is princial transport, and is known as "motocarro", "mototaxi" or "tuk-tuk" (for foreigners). (from Wikipedia) |
