Mrs. Morgan was born November 12, 1925 in Gastonia N.C., a daughter of late Marvin and Lela Robinson.
She married Jack Morgan in 1945 and their union produced Kay M. Lambert (Dennis Sr.), Jack A. Morgan (Elaine), Elizabeth Ann Morgan (deceased), and Jill M. Griffin (Joe).
Her grandchildren are Rhonda West (Tom), Yvonne Lambert (deceased), Kay Lambert, Dennis Lambert Jr. (Tammy), Cass Manley (Todd), Morgan Griffin, Joshua Griffin (Kristen), Lindsey G. Mager (Brian).
Her great-grandchildren are Pamela L. Biggs (Kyle), Rachel Hemingway, Daniel Felkel, Dennis F. Lambert, Casey Geiger, Danielle Manley, Colleen Lambert, Haylee Caddell, Claire Mager, and Brooks Griffin.
Her great-great-grandchildren are Brett Mauldin and Lillian Biggs.
She was the sister of Edna Edison, Beatrice Biddy, Laura Bell, M.T. Robinson, Talmadge Robinson, Helen Clemmer and Jack F. Robinson, all deceased.
Naomi retired from Santee River Wool Combing/Prouvost USA, after a thirty-seven year career as a pin setter, then laboratory technician and first-aid supervisor. She was also an EMT and taught first-aid for 15 years. Naomi was a Southern Baptist her entire life, a member of Jamestown Baptist church, then Berkeley Baptist Church for fifteen years before returning to Jamestown for her last six years.
She served as Sunday organist and pianist, and also as a youth leader, teacher, and nursery attendant. Naomi started the Women's Missionary Union at Jamestown Baptist Church which is very active today. As a young adult, she sang Gospel music solo, as well as in trios and quartets, that traveled on a missionary group around the state of North Carolina. She once won the Arthur Godfrey Amateur Hour Audition.
Memorials may be made to the WMU of Jamestown Baptist Church, P.O. Box 104, Jamestown, SC 29453.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m., and funeral services, arranged by Russell Funeral Home of Moncks Corner, will be 4:00 p.m., August 26, 2014, in Jamestown Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Lambert Cemetery at the K & D Ranch.

1870 census, Catawba Springs, Lincoln, NC. By 1870, they were back in Lincoln Co, in Catawba Springs Township. Nathan was 61y and Susan was 54y. Henry and William no longer lived at home. The children still at home are:

The family lived next door to the family of Dorcas Sherrill who later married James Baker.
Laura A. Smith married Felix Baker on 7 Feb 1878 in Newton, Catawba County. Felix was listed as "Fielden N. Baker". Laura was 19 years old and Felix was 23 years old. Felix was from Lincoln County. Witnesses were E.M. Bollinger and Robert (or Rob) Baker (probably Felix's brother).
1880 census, Lemley, Mecklenburg, NC. By 1880, Nathan and family had moved to Lemley Township, Mecklenburg Co, NC. Nathan was 75y and Susan (listed as Susanna) was 65y. Living with them were their granddaughter, Darkus E. Stevenson, 16y and their daughter, Isabella and her family. Isabella was 24y and had married James Crenshaw, 26y. They had a daughter Nora, 5y. Note that Mary Stevenson (14y), who was living with them in the 1870 census, is no longer living with them. Next door to them was Robert F. Baker, 22y and his wife Dora, 19y. They didn't have any children at this time (they had 6 children later). This is Felix's younger brother.
1883 marriage record of daughter Nancy to George Fincannon mentions Nathan as living in Lincoln County.
1883 marriage record of granddaughter, Dorcas, says that she was married at "Nathan Baker's"
