Judy sent me a question about Pietro's parents. This was my response:

The 13 May 1844 marriage record of Pietro Concetto Zaccagnini and Giuseppa Nicola Carapellotto supports what we have had.
The record which I've attached (#1) shows Pietro Concetto, 22y, son of Raffaele, farmer, and Angela Celestina Mantenuto, farmer who live in SEaM. The record lists the grandfather, Giuseppe, farmer, who is dead.
The record shows Giuseppa Nicola Carapellotto, 22y, daughter of Pietro Carapellotto, farmer, deceased and Angela Dea del Tonto, farmer, deceased, The record lists the grandfather, Domenico, farmer, also dead.
Then there is all of the support documents (Matrimoni+memorandum+notificazioni+ed+opposizioni).
I'd never looked at these before. The cover page is the document titled "Atto del Memorandum".
The support documents include:
1 birth record of husband
2 birth record of wife
3 death record of father of husband
4 death record of father of wife
5 death record of mother of wife
6 death record of the grandfather of husband
7 death record of the grandfather of wife
8 the Notificasione (The "Banns" of the Catholic Church)
A treasure trove of information. The support documents were "Xeroxed" in the manner of the day - that is - by hand. That makes them very hard to read.
I've attached the copy of the death record of Giuseppe Zaccagnini. As best as I can read:

Death reported by sons Giovanni Antonio 46y and Raffaele 37y.

2001 3 May posting by Dave Letteri to Lou Stempkowski on the DiNardo Forum on Rootsweb.com: "Hello Lou, My grandfather, Angelo Roberto DiNardo, was born in 1888. His father was Raffaele DiNardo (b. 1858), and his mother was Filomena DiNardo (DiNardo was her maiden name). Angelo Roberto had a brother Luigi(!) and a brother Paolantonio.
Raffaele had another marriage, to Angelantonia DiNardo (yes, another DiNardo maiden name. I think Filomena and Angelantonia were sisters). Raffaele and Angelantonia had a son, Antonio, and a daughter, Annina. Pretty confusing, no?
My grandfather settled in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, which is very near McKees Rocks, just a few miles away along the river. I also grew up in that area.
