Helen Dolores (Deltondo) Cercone, 95, of Alliance, OH and formerly of Aliquippa, PA, died on Sunday, August 1, 2010, at 9:55 a.m. at Canterbury Villa of Alliance.
She was born on July 7, 1915, in McKees Rocks, PA to Fulgenzio and Theresa (Tessicino) Deltondo.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William F. Cercone, whom she married on November 14, 1940 and who died on February 16, 1976; brothers, Albert and Vincent Deltondo, and a sister, Anna Wilson.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, The Funtastics and Regina Coeli Altar & Rosary Society. She was also a former member of St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa, The Confraternity of Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters of America. Helen retired as the head cook at Aliquippa Hospital, was a talented seamstress, known for her exceptional culinary skills, enjoyed singing and was especially proud of her Italian heritage. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who dearly loved her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Marie (Jack) Hemer, of Cranberry Township, PA, Marlene (John) Admonius, of Alliance, OH, and Alisa (Bill) Schell, of Economy Borough, PA; grandchildren, Michael, David and Robert D'Atri, Eric (Jasmine) Schell and Megan Schell; step-grandchildren, Rick (Lana) Hemer and Tom (Heidi) Hemer; five great- grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; three sisters, Josephine Sinesio, of Poland, OH, Catherine Amery, of Pittsburgh, PA, and Lee Land, of Bethel Park, PA, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends will be received at SHARER-STIRLING-SKIVOLOCKE FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, August 5, 2010, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Donald L. Feicht, Rev. Msg. James Kolp and Rev. Fr. Michael Seifert as con-celebrants.
A family luncheon will be held at the Schwartz Center with interment following at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, in Aliquippa, PA.
Our family wishes to thank the staff of Canterbury Villa for their loving and compassionate care given to Helen.

Requiem Mass for the Repose of the Soul of Orlando (Ollie) Di Pietro will be offered at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1087 Whitehorse Road, Box Hill on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 10.00 am.
Following Mass the Cortege will proceed to the Mausoleum section at Box Hill Cemetery where Orlando will be laid to Rest.
Rosary Prayers will be recited the evening Prior at the Heritage Funeral Home, 733 Boronia Road, Wantirna on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 7.00 pm.
Viewing will be available prior to the Rosary, from 6.30 pm onwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the Church.

Requiem Mass for the Repose of the Soul of Annunziata (Nancy) Di Pietro will be offered at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1087 Whitehorse Road, Box Hill on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 10.00 am.
Following Mass the Cortege will proceed to the Mausoleum section at Box Hill Cemetery where Nancy will be laid to Rest.
Rosary Prayers will be recited the evening Prior at the Heritage Funeral Home, 733 Boronia Road, Wantirna on Monday November 25, 2019 at 8.00 pm.
Viewing will be available prior to the Rosary, from 7.30 pm onwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Eastern Health Palliative Care - Wantirna, would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the Church.

Vincent J. Fricano, 87, of Aliquippa, passed away on November 6, 2012.
He was born February 27, 1925, in Aliquippa, a son of the late Carmello and Antonina Fricano. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Mr. Fricano was a member of Saint Titus Roman Catholic Church and the Saint Titus Holy Name Society, Aliquippa.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 61 years, Mary Fricano; a daughter, Mary Ann Fricano, VA; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles Fricano, NC, and Vincent Jr. and Debbie Fricano, Little Meadows, PA; three grandchildren, David, Michael, and Dionna and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Fricano is also survived by a sister, Helena Fricano; two nieces, Angela Fricano and Antoinette Augustine, and a nephew, Anthony Fricano.
Friends are being received Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. in the ANTHONY MASTROFRANCESCO FUNERAL HOME INC., 21st and McMinn Streets, Aliquippa, 724-375-0496. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at St. Titus Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Paul Householder officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
