I believe that the Giovanni Lorenzo is this person known later in life as Giallorenzo diNardo.

1802 26 Feb SEaM death record (copy of Church record) sent to me by Mike Livreri. Copy dated 1 Dec 1819 as support documentation for the marriage of son, Paolantonio. 70y (b 1732). Wife: Florenza diCamillo.

They are way back in the 18th century however. I don't know if anyone will have any connection to them. Irene Dinardo, born 1790 in Sant'Eufemia, married Ferdinando Fiore-Nanni of Campo di Giove'. Her parents were Giovanni Lorenzo Dinardo, born about 1760 and Fiorenza DiLibero or Dicamillo, born about 1760. Are either of the names DiLibero or DiCamillo popular in Sant'Eufemia? I realize these are very distant names but if anyone has a connection please let me know. "

I'm not sure about the connection to his children. Birth dates from Mike Livreri's post do not make sense compared to her other siblings' birth dates.

email from Dave DiNardo, Mar 2019 about Giallorenzo: "So here is what I found new. There are two references to a man named Giovan Lorenzo Di Nardo that appear to be him. One is from 1771 and one from 1753. So Mark help me if you feel that the older reference is possibly that of his father or grandfather rather than the one we know. But this is what I see. In 1753, there is a passage referring to all the wealthy men in Caramanico by name. (Caramanico iss a town just a tiny bit to the south on the same Leonardo Pass through the mountains but had a little more prestige with a "University" and was listed as the town of record for the area that all the smaller nearby towns were considered part of). The passage referring to the wealthy men broke the men out by where they lived in either Caramanico or Sant'Eufemia or Villa Ricciardo. From Sant'Eufemia, they listed only three men. All three of them have surnames that we would recognize as having relations to. They were Giovan Lereto Zianni, Dr. Felice Antonoio De Seio and Giovan Laurenzo Di Nardo. All three of them were referred to as "Lords".

So I am guessing they were blessed with the ownership of land and extremely well respected. The passage from 1771 is far more difficult to understand. It sounds as though money was provided to two men from Sant'Eufemia and three from Caramanico from Municipal funds. I can't tell if its for safekeeping similar to a bank in exchange for use by repayment of interest, or as a tax to land owners, or as rent for the use of land by the Community and University, or for a lease of land for the same purpose. The two men from Sant'Eufemia were Giovan Laurenzo Di Nardo and Giovan Lereto Zianni. It appears to be the same two men Sant'Eufemia mentioned in the passage from 1753. The amount of money transferred to the five men collectively from the area was 2,570 ducats. Ducats were substantially recognized gold bullion coins minted from Venezia. It was probably one of the top two forms of currency in Europe during the renaissance. The other being the Florin. 2,570 ducats in todays currency would be about $389,000 as I understand it, but difficult to estimate what that would be worth in comparing modern times to 1750 terminology land value and wages. This is because the relevance of wages to buying land could make that sum of money worth essentially many millions of dollars in land comparatively speaking. Not sure. Bottom line is that he held a title, was called Lord, owned land, banked in gold bullion, and fathered many children that in turn had many children. Kind of cool to find out he was a substantial guy since I was always wondering what our common ancestor was like."
