Mark's note: we finally realized that although he used Joseph, his Italian name was Giocondino. This came to light when I found his 1906 marriage record in Sant'Eufemia.

Florence was born May 11, 1923 in Struthers, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Zanncci Devecchio. She lived in the area her whole life and was a homemaker.

She was a member of the St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, the 2162 Club, Italian Mothers Club, the Saxon Club and the Maennerchor Club.

Florence married Boyd E. Kennedy May 17, 1947, and he passed away Dec. 5, 1988. She leaves behind one son, Boyd W. Kennedy of Campbell; two daughters, Marion Keller of San Diego, Calif., and Carol Ann (Gordan) Coler of Poland, Ohio. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Carmen Devecchio; and three sisters, Ann Devecchio, Lucy Cycyk and Vera Gunyula.

Date and ship listed on 1931 Petition for Naturalization and on 1930 Certificate of Arrival issued by the Department of Labor on 19 Jul 1930. There is an arrival on that date at EI of that ship and I looked through the manifest page by page with no luck.

The document "Nicola Crivelli - A Heritage of Serving" states that he arrived in March of 1906 aboard the Princess Louisa at 18 years old. K�nigin Luise literally translated is Queen Louise.

Although both Carmella (Mancini) and Nicola Crivelli were originally from Sante Eufemia Maiella in the Province of Pescara, Italy, they and their eight children truly embody the entrepreneurial spirit that is the foundation of the American Dream. In 1928, Nicola and Carmella purchased a confectionery-grocery store and a two-pump gasoline station on Island Avenue in Stowe Township, which they worked together, until their children were old enough to take over some of the business.

Born in 1916 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, James P. Crivelli, Sr. was the second of Nicola and Carmella's eight children. After working the gas station and grocery store during his teenage years, Jim officially assumed his role in the family enterprises at the age of 23, when he became the youngest Nash automobile dealer in the country.

Sixteen years later, in 1955, after having served his country during World War II, Jim was awarded a Chevrolet franchise. This franchise coincided with an already-planned expansion of the automobile agency, which would grow to include a body shop, service and parts departments located on Chartiers Avenue in McKees Rocks.

Anthony "Cri" Crivelli, 87, of McKees Rocks, died Saturday, June 3, 2006, in Ohio Valley General Hospital following an extended illness.
Born Sept. 29, 1919, in West Aliquippa, he was the son of the late Nicola and Carmella Mancini Crivelli.
Mr. Crivelli was instrumental in establishing the A. Crivelli automotive dealerships in Franklin and Reno, owned by his son, Anthony Crivelli Sr.
Locally, Mr. Crivelli was best known as "The Bread Man," delivering 60 or more loaves of Mancini's Italian bread to family and friends every Tuesday for many years.
Mr. Crivelli was married in 1940 to Olga "Honey" Romanchak, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Anthony Crivelli Sr. (Marlene Stern) and Ronald Crivelli (Karen); two daughters, Donna Boburka (James) and Lynne Morris (James); nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today and Tuesday in the Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, 700 Seventh St., McKees Rocks.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Malachy Church in Kennedy Township.

Mr. Mancini attended the University of South Carolina and was a self employed entrepreneur. A founding and dedicated member of St. Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church in Lilburn, Georgia. An avid fisherman, he had a captain's license and enjoyed boating. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all he met. He was a member of the BPOE Elks Club, the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity of the University of South Carolina. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenny Simko Mancini of Atlanta, Georgia; daughters, Marjorie (Stephen) Rath of Smyrna, Georgia; Laura Mancini of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., grandchildren, Nicholas Rath and Anthony Rath of Smyrna, Georgia and one on the way, brother Robert Mancini of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Mary Lynn (Kent) Brooks of Atlanta, Georgia and niece, Natalie Mancini and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29th at 11 o'clock at St. Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church. Interment Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 with a blessing service at 7 o'clock at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30319.

Tom DiPietro, age 91, of Hopewell Township, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2021, with his loving family at his bedside. Beloved husband of MaryJane DiPietro and brother of Sylvia Bongiorno, he was preceded in death by his parents Nicolo and Giovanelle DiPietrantonio, and sister Mary Crivelli. Dedicated father of Tom (Liz) DiPietro, Nick (Patty) DiPietro and Tim (Denise) DiPietro. Proud Grandpa to Anthony (Avri) DiPietro, Amy (Tim) Gastgeb, Natalie (Aaron) Hinkle, Nickolas (Vanessa) DiPietro, Nicole (Matthew) Dean, Celina DiPietro, Nate DiPietro and Noelle DiPietro. He leaves behind five precious great grandchildren: Mason and Addison Gastgeb, Luca and Aliancia DiPietro and Marco Dean. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and enjoyed coaching youth football and baseball. Tom's greatest joy was spending time with his family and enjoying the special traditions they shared together. Family ties and the love expressed when everyone gathered was the focus of his life. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Viewing will be private. No flowers please. All friends and family are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St Titus Catholic Church, 952 Franklin Avenue, 10am on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Twp. The family would like to thank the staff of Kindred Hospice and Tapestry Senior Living Community for the loving care they provided to Tom.
