An affidavit discloses that Mr. Chirillo, speaking of the property he owned in Ohio, has stated that "one parcel brings in a rent of $14.00 monthly, and the second parcel is occupied rent free by a married daughter," (Exhibit 3, fol. 22) and further, that all the children were ''born in Wooster, Ohio, a town larger than Mamaroneck, New York, presumably with better business and employment possibilities, certainly with years of association for the family which presumably would bring more possibilities of prosperity than the town of their recent choice." (Exhibit 8, fol. 22)

Mr. Chirillo "is 62 years old and has complained of and requested medical care for his rheumatic condition" (Exhibit 3, fol. 15). His wife, who is 56, also "mentions poor health, particularly attacks of gallstones in the past, feeling too ill to be working, and chronic bronchitis." One son. "Louis shows serious symptoms of mental difficulty" and will need "permanent support" (fols. 61-62). His brother "Anthony is at present in Maslin State Hospital in Ohio" because of a psychiatric difficulty (UL, fols. 17-18). (Mark's note: Massillon, OH)

Obituary for Ronald G. Hoover Published in The Repository on June 23, 2010:
Age 67, of Canton, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family and friends, after a five year battle against cancer. Born in Canton to the late Maurice and Christine (Motter) Hoover, he was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish and was a 1961 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He started working for the Canton City Police Department on Sept. 28, 1964 and retired on January 3, 1998 after 34 years of service. He was a member of the Canton F.O.P. and the Ohio Police Patrolman's Association.
He is survived by his wife, Donna with whom he would have celebrated 20 years of marriage on July 3, 2010; daughter, Chaundra Hoover; stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Todd and Shaun Hill; granddaughters, Kendall and Taylor Hill; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Janice Hoover; brother-in-law, Louis Chirillo; and mother-in-law, Antoinette Chirillo; nieces, cousins, many friends and constant 'four legged' companion, Bella.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Rossi Funeral Home where the F.O.P. will hold services at 5:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Matthew Albright celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Many heartfelt thanks to Dr. Esther Rehmus, and the Oncology Department at Akron General Medical Center. Donations can be made to the McDowell Cancer Center c/o Akron General Development Foundation, 400 Wabash Ave., Akron, Ohio 44307, in memory of Ronald Hoover.

Mark's note: In the 1930 census, she was 1y so she was probably born about 1929. Other records show birth year as 1927. If that were the case, she would have been 3y in 1930 but I don't think that the information in the census could be that wrong. That was contemporary information and should have been fresh in the minds of the parents. It is possible that the census taker wrote it down wrong.
