I also noted that a Carmel and Bruno Colaizzi identified some people and I wonder if they are related.

My mother took me to Sant'Eufemia in 1969 to meet my grandparents who were still alive at the time although they were in their nineties I was only 15 and having grown up in Australia it was fantastic to go and see for myself the little village I had heard so much about and finally meet my mum's folks before they passed away.

Olga M. Dugan (I13630) [Female] b. 23 Oct 1927 Beaver Falls, Beaver, PA - d. 11 Mar 2022 Koppel, PA
2006 obituary in the Beaver County Times of Rose Petti Nardone.

Olga M. (Dugan) Nardone

Koppel - Mrs. Olga M. (Dugan) Nardone, 94, of Koppel, passed away peacefully at Northview Estates Assisted Living on Friday, March 11th, 2022.

Born October 23rd, 1927, in Beaver Falls, she was a daughter of the late David and Mildred (Perencevic) Dugan.

Olga was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a devout Catholic and loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for her family and anyone that was hungry; all were welcome at her table. Her generosity was unparalleled and touched so many near and far.

After graduating from Beaver Falls High School in 1945, she worked for the Farmer's Bank until the birth of her first child. She served as the president of St. Teresa's Alter & Rosary Society and the Beaver Falls Football Mothers.

She leaves behind her husband of 73 years, Joseph "Joe" Nardone; her five children, Charles (Kara) Nardone of Hopewell and his 3 children Joe (Kelly), Gina Salama (Pete), and Jessica; Mary Ann DeSanzo (Mike Heider) and her 2 children John DeSanzo and Stephanie (Jake) Piechowiak of Perrysburg, Ohio; Donna (Mike) Hajduk and their 2 sons Michael and Matthew of Pittsburgh; Joseph (Sandy) Nardone of Ellwood City; Bill (Lisa) Nardone and their 3 children, Adrienne, Angelina, and Will of Ellwood City; five great-grandchildren, Julia, Carlo, and Joey Nardone, Hoda and Tomasina Salama; one brother, David Dugan of Beaver Falls, and one sister-in-law, Vita Prence of Koppel. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mike and Don Dugan, her sisters, Annie Dugan, Dorothy Pavlovic and Sara Lesko.

Her family will remember her as a great fan and supporter no matter what activity they where involved in. She didn't attend an event without bringing one of her specialty dishes; apricot bars, meatballs or eggplant parmigiana. And fondly remembered as the first person to call when something was lost: her prayers had a direct line to Saint Anthony, warm blankets where always available from the dryer, and her Easter sausage pies.

Mrs. Nardone's family would like to thank the staff of Northview Estates for the wonderful care that they extended to her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-8 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 am at the Holy Redeemer Church with Father John Gallagher officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Beaver Falls.

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Nardone's name may be made to the McGuire Memorial Home, or to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Irene diNardo (I13654) [Female] b. ABT 1790 Villa Sant'Eufemia (Caramanico), Chieti, Italy - d. 22 Oct 1852 Campo diGiove, Chieti, Italy
Posting by Mike Livreri on http://www.laroccalulett.com/SantEufemiaSurnames.html : "Mike Livreri -vegasmikeandbecky@earthlink.net - I have some ancestors from Sant'Eufemia. They are way back in the 18th century however. I don't know if anyone will have any connection to them. Irene Dinardo, born 1790 in Sant'Eufemia, married Ferdinando Fiore-Nanni of Campo di Giove'. Her parents were Giovanni Lorenzo Dinardo, born about 1760 and Fiorenza DiLibero or Dicamillo, born about 1760. Are either of the names DiLibero or DiCamillo popular in Sant'Eufemia? I realize these are very distant names but if anyone has a connection please let me know. "

I'm not sure about the connection to her parents. Birth dates from Mike Livreri's post do not make sense compared to her other siblings' birth dates.

email from Mike Livreri, Jul 2014: "I really enjoyed looking at your website with your family history. I am trying to make a connection with my family to one of your lines. I have Irene DiNardo married to Ferdinando Fiore Nanni in Campo di Giove. On Irene's death in 1852 it has her age as 62, born in Sant'Eufemia. Parents listed are Giov Lorenzo DiNardo and Fiorenz DiLibero. That would put Irene's birth at about 1790. Do you think that is a possibility to be born to the Giallorenzo and Florenza Dinardo that you have on your family tree?"

email from Mike Liveri, Jul 2014: "I just found the marriage record of Ferdinando Fiore Nanni and Irene DiNardo. They were married in 1815. Marriage #16. The processetti records are a breakthrough. In them is the baptism record for Irene in Latin. It mentions her father Joanne Laurentio son of Josepho Andrea DiNardo. So, are hunch was indeed correct that the death record of Giuseppe Andrea was indeed the father of Giovanni Lorenzo. This baptism record of Irene also says her Mother Florentia da Davino DiCamillo from Roccaraso. So we also learn the name of Florenza's father-Davino. I have attached the baptismal record of Irene's for you to see. It is image #61 in the processetti of 1815." Mark's note: I read the baptism date as 11 Sep 1792.

Nancy Owings (I13662) [Female]
Posting by herself, Nancy Owings, on http://www.laroccalulett.com/SantEufemiaSurnames.html: "Both of my grandparents were from Santa Eufemia a Maiella. My grandfather was Vincent Di Nardo. I do not know the names of all of his siblings, but I do know that he came to America around 1900 with his older brother Paul. They went to Colorado and worked on the railroads. He also had brothers named Luigi and Ralph and also a sister named Annie and I believe several other siblings.

He eventually settled in Baltimore, Md. as did his brothers Paul and Ralph and his sister Annie. He sent for my grandmother Maria Timperio and their daughter (my aunt Adeline) who arrived in Baltimore around 1911. My mother Domenica,(Mitzi), aunt Annunciata (Nancy) and uncle Phil were all born in Baltimore. My aunt Nancy is 96 years old and lives in Florida. All of the other siblings are deceased."
