Johnston, Masontown, PA. I would be fairly confident to say that the reporting person was Donato Colaianni using the Americanization of his name as Daniel Collian. "Correan' just an incorrect transcription of "Collian".

I wonder if it made the newspapers?
Is the Indpendent Catholic Cemetery still around? Is there a marker?
What about the Coroner, Harry J. Bell from Dawson, PA? Dawson is in Fayette County - is that where Antonio was killed?
One answer generates many questions."

We are saddened to notify of the loss of Massachusetts State Trooper David Timperio. Trooper Timperio, who was with the 75th Recruit Training Troop, died suddenly on August 27, 2015. Trooper Timperio had been with the Massachusetts State Police for approximately 15 years. He was assigned most recently to the Government Center Barracks. For seven years he was with the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit (CARS), where he reconstructed many fatal accidents. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Trooper Timperio family, the Massachusetts Highway Patrol and the community. We are saddened by your loss.

Statement issued by the Massachusetts State Police:

"It is with great sadness that we report the sudden passing yesterday of Massachusetts State Police Trooper David M. Timperio, 50, assigned to the Government Center Barracks. Trooper Timperio was a member of the 75th Recruit Training Troop, which graduated from the State Police Academy in December 2000. During his career, he also served assignments at the Leominster and Boston Barracks and served for more than seven years in the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit (CARS). While a member of CARS, Trooper Timperio reconstructed numerous car crashes involving serious or fatal injuries, and helped hold reckless or negligent motorists who caused the crashes accountable and helped seek justice for the crash victims. Trooper Timperio leaves a wife and two children. We are grateful for his service. Trooper Timperio and his family are in the Department's prayers."

Born in Watertown, John was a son of the late Francesco and Teresa M. (Zaccagnini)) D'Amico.
He died on Monday evening surrounded by family in the Soldiers Home, Chelsea, MA.
A hard working man, he was a devoted husband and father. John enjoyed spending time in Marshfield at the beach and loved to putt around the garden. He loved time with his grandchildren and was the first to hold and play with any new baby or toddler. For such a gruff man, he had the patience and gentleness of a saint.
John worked in dry cleaning and retired a s a custodian at the Newton North High School. He enjoyed bowling, and bowled on teams. A former member of the Sons of Italy and the Society of Santa Eufemia in Watertown, MA. John served in the US Army from 1952-1954 in Korea, he was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal.

He was the beloved husband of the late Theresa G. (Stevenson). Devoted father of [twin] John E. & his wife Dana and [twin] Lt. Col. Peter F. (USAF, Ret) & his wife Lori all of Hampstead, NH, David J. & his wife Rene of Lynnfield and the late Theresa E. D'Amico. Dear brother [his twin] Peter D'Amico of Marshfield, Barbara Howe and Loretta Dunn both of Burlington and Emma Gaeta of Watertown. Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral from the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home 270 Main St. on rte. 20, Watertown, MA, Friday at 8AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 o'clock in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St. Watertown, MA. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited.

She graduated from Saint Patrick High School in Watertown and lived in Watertown for most of her life.
Beloved wife of 46 years to John A. D'Amico.
She moved to Marshfield, where she spent many summers, and then to North Andover, where she resided for the past six years.

Mrs. D'Amico loved her family and loved to dote on her grandchildren. She also was an avid reader.

She leaves, her husband John A. D'Amico; Devoted mother to her 3 sons, John E. D'Amico of Hampstead, N.H., Lt. Col. Peter F. D'Amico, USAF retired, of Pueblo, Colo., and David J. D'Amico of Lynnfield; her sisters, Mary Rice of Northboro, Bernadette Riley of Mashpee, Sr. Anne Stevenson, SND, of Ipswich and Patricia Robinson of Littleton; nine grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Theresa E. D'Amico and the sister of the late Agnes Gannon.
