1905 SEaM digital index #7, of son, Gaetano. The surname may have been incorrectly written as Mantenuto. Note that his grandmother's surname was Mantenuto.

It is probable that this person is Domenic Filippa Timperio and that she married Bartolomeo diPietrantonio in 1894, well after Gaetano was born. I cannot find a birth record for Gaetano. His birth may not have been registered. In the 1880's it was common for people to get married in the Church but then forgo a civil marriage. Later, the law was changed to prevent inheritance to children of people not civily married. Then there was a flood of civil marriages of people who had only previously been married in the Church.

Michael A. Labate, 69 years of age, passed away Tuesday June 6, 2017 at his residence. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 10, 1947, he was the son of the late Arthur S. and Grace (Davis) Labate. Michael grew up in the North Hill area of Akron, and was a graduate of North High School. A longtime resident of Auburn Township, he had resided in Kent the past two plus years, and had formerly been employed as a barber at Ink’s Barber Shop in Kent for several years. Later he was employed as a Government Security Officer. He had attended The First Baptist Church of Streetsboro. Michael loved classic cars, attending car shows, and his children will forever cherish the memories of dad taking them to the movies, and of his love for them, and their love for dad. Survivors include his son Kevin (Stefanie) Labate of Aurora; daughters Kimberly (Duane) Angle of Katy, Texas and Melinda Labate of Greenbay, Wisconsin; siblings Steve (Becky) Labate of Alliance, Marc Labate, Marta MacClellan of Ellet, Ohio and Nina. 5 grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores F. Labate on March 2, 2011.Visitation will be Sunday June 11, 2017 from 1:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M. at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St.Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255, where his funeral service will begin at 3:00 P.M. A graveside burial will take place on Monday June 12, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at Westlawn Cemetery, St.Rt. 82, Mantua Township, Ohio. Immediately following the burial on Monday a reception will be held for family and friends at the Aurora Inn, corner of Rt. 82 and 306, Aurora, Ohio.

THERESA ROSE MANDOLINE

CANTON, MICH. – There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown, with the Very Reverend Monsignor Michael J. Cariglio Jr. officiating, preceded by 9:15 a.m. prayer service at the Rossi and Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. in Boardman, for Theresa Rose Mandoline, 85, formerly of Youngstown, who died on Feb. 3, 2013. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at 10 am at St. Thomas a’Becket Parish in Canton, Mich.

Theresa Rose Frazzini Mandoline was born on July 28, 1927, and died on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013. She was born in Youngstown to Vincenzo and Anna Frazzini.

Theresa married Julius Mandoline on June 21, 1947. She was preceded in death by Julius who died on Aug. 3, 2008. They lived in Liberty Township until 2002 then moved to Canton, Mich. Theresa moved to Genoa after the death of Julius.

She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and while there, belonged to the Mothers’ of the Crucifix Society, St. Monica Guild, church choir and Senior Citizens Club. After moving to Canton, she joined St. Thomas a’Becket Parish, where she was a member of the Poke –n STAB Quilters the Bunko Club and the STA-50 Club.

Theresa was a graduate of East High School and enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and baking, playing Bingo, shopping, singing and playing Bunko. She loved everything about the Genoa Retirement Center.

She leaves daughters, Joyce Hansen (Hans) of Canton, Mich. and Elaine Chrismas (Robert) of Genoa; granddaughter, Charina Hansen of Canton, Mich.; grandson, Chris Hansen (Emily) of Novi, Mich.; and a sister, Rose Janesh of Struthers.

Friends may call on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi and Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. in Boardman.

Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.

Struthers – A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church in Struthers for Rose Marie Janesh, 82, of Struthers, who passed away Thursday morning at University Hospital Case Medical in Cleveland.

Rose was born February 10, 1934 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Vincenzo and Anna Vitullo Frazzini.

She lived in the area her whole life, graduated from East High School in 1952, and was a homemaker. She drove a school bus for many years in the Struthers and Poland School Districts. Rose was instrumental in forming the first softball league in Struthers for girls and served as a coach. She also was an assistant coach for the Struthers High School Girl’s Softball team. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church, was secretary of the Holiday Bowl Homemakers League, and secretary of the Rolling Hills Golf League, where she had an “Ace” at hole number 7.

Rose married Robert E. Janesh on June 2, 1956.

Besides her husband, she leaves three children, David E. (Jacqueline) Janesh of Jessup MD, Diane M. (Jeff) Shriver of Earlysville, VA, and Cheryl A. Janesh of Girard; seven grandchildren, Robert A. (Dena) Janesh, Jennifer M. (Andrew Siegele) Janesh, Michael V. Janesh, Aaron Rei-White, Brianna Rei-White, Jacquelyn Kenreich, Carl Kenreich, along with two great grandchildren, Marley Gioia Siegele, and Xavier Joseph Siegele.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents and a son Joseph S. Janesh and a sister Theresa Mandoline.

Friends may call on Monday at Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church prior to the mass from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
