email from Jake Jacobson, Jun 2011: ""Violet Bango married Anthony Frazzini and is the Violet B. Frazzini who passed away in 2000. She was Vi Cucinelli's favorite sister-in-law. Anthony and Yolanda (named after the queen on the olive oil can) were brother and sister. The German nuns at the school changed Yolanda's name to Viola. They added the middle name Deloris when she was confirmed. Yolanda Viola Deloris Frazzini Cucinelli was born on March 23, 1917 in Freedom. She didn't like the name Viola so goes by "Vi". Violet Bango didn't like her name either so went by "Red". Thanks for the quick response! Jake

2003 Obituary of brother, Anthony. Lives in Canton, OH.
email from Gordon Owens, Nov 2008: "Hello Mark , My name is Gordon Owens ; residing in Canton, Ohio . My friend Dom Frazzini passed away Sept 19. , 2008 @ age 97. I believe he was a member of your maternal branch ; his father, Rugerio (Roger), died in the late 1930's, mother in the 1960's. One sister survives. I found your site while checking around for him a few years ago.
His dad emigrated first , leaving ma and the small kids in Italy. She arrived later and can be found in the immigration records. Before she joined Roger, one of the kids became deathly ill and, lacking most forms of medical treatment, she prayed to St. Amico. The child survived, and in gratitude (my) Dominic's actual birth name was Amico. He said that it was misstated as Dom sometime during his early schooling and that name stuck.
I met him at the facility where we both worked out. He was a lot of fun and touched everyone who knew him. Dom was returned to Pennsylvania for burial."

email from Sally Burge, Sep 2010: I am the niece "of Bill DeSanzo (married Aunt Alley--Eli, I assume), whose daughter Elaine married Rudolph (Rudy) Buzzelli (who had 2 daughters, Loree Clark and Carol Pennybaker Funkhouser). I believe that I can identify one of your pictures. The building where 3 men are standing on the stoop at the corner is where "Uncle Bill and Aunt Alley" DeSanzo lived in Homewood, PA. They lived in the apartment upstairs. It once had a pool hall in the end of the building where the men are standing. The other end of the building was the US Post Office probably from before I was born and lived across the street from that property."

The record seems to say that the child died in Ateleta. The town name, Ateleta, is very clear, but my poor Italian may be mis-interpreting what I am reading. The record seems to say that the mother and father are residents of SPA. The record says that the child was born in SPA. The SPA birth records are missing for 1881 so I can't look for her.
