1928 27 Sep Dawson News, Thursday, "Nick Colaizzi Dead - Nick Colaizzi died at the Minnequa Hospital in Pueblo Monday night, according to word received here Tuesday morning. Mr. Colaizzi, who was an old timer of Dawson, had been in poor health for a number of years. His condition having recently become serious, he was taken to the Minnequa Hospital last week for treatment. His passing comes as a shock to the members of his family, as well as the entire community, in which he was so well and favorably known. At the time of going to press, no funeral arrangements have been announced." Monday would have been 24 Sep.

LouElla Moore DeDionisio, age 90, of Erie, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at Ball Pavilion at Brevillier Village. She was born in Columbus, Pa on October 30, 1917 a daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Simmons Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry DeDionisio and a sister, Winifred Baker.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Rys and her husband Tom of Erie and Joan Zuerner and her husband Dick of Newport, RI, a son, Mark DeDionisio and his wife Karen of Centennial, CO. Seven grandchildren, Holly Rys of Harrisburg, Kirk Rys of Chicago, Katy Goring and her husband Micah of MD and Emily, Eric, Phillip and Matthew DeDionisio of CO. and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Services will be announced at a later date. The Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, Inc. 2502 Sassafras St. Erie, Pa. 16502 is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Ball Pavilion at Brevillier Village.

Anthony J. Di Sanzo Sr., 75, of Freedom, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in The Medical Center, Beaver.

Born May 15, 1932, in Freedom, a son of the late Antonio and Evelyn A. Giacoma Di Sanzo, he was a retired car repairman for Conrail and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Freedom Volunteer Fire Department, working the Wednesday and Thursday bingo; the Sons of Italy, Freedom, and St. Felix Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, Rose Marie Malackanich Di Sanzo; two sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony J. Jr. and Lisa Di Sanzo, Freedom, and Jeffrey A. and Suzanne Di Sanzo, Brighton Township; five grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jordyn, Abigail, Jeffrey and James, and three sisters and a brother-in-law, Antoinette Zupsic, Monaca; Phyllis Di Sanzo, Freedom, and Frances and Billi Osbun, Freedom. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Eugene Di Sanzo, and a sister, Esther Denney.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES OF ROCHESTER, www.huntsmanfuneralhomes.com , 502 Adams St., where prayer services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Felix Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Freedom, with the Beaver County Special Unit providing full military honors at 10:45 a.m.
