Michael T. Ricci, 83, of New Galilee, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012, in Kindred Hospital in Beaver.
Born May 8, 1929, in New Galilee, he was the son of the late Telesforo and Bambina Carlini Ricci. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, 179th Tank Company, 45th Division, on the 38th parallel. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Parish. He had been a member of the Little Beaver 55 Plus Club. He retired from the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products Company, East Works Department, with 42 years of service where he had been a pickler and a crane operator. He was an avid hunter, skeet shooter, a trap shooter, and shot small bore rifles. He liked to travel and enjoyed attending various Italian festivals and parish picnics.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Keith Frischkorn, Beaver Falls and Anita and Butch Hartung, West Mayfield; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael J. and Kristine Ricci, Big Beaver; five grandchildren, Mary Frances Frischkorn, Penny and Autumn Gallentine, Michael Joseph Ricci II, and Michela Ricci; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Zach Baysinger; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald A. and Grayce Ricci, South Beaver Township; a sister, Carmelina Cistolo, Arizona; a sister-in-law, Delores Basile, New Sewickley Twp., and a special niece, Lorraine Ricci, New Galilee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Basile Ricci, on July 18, 1989; an infant brother, Arganti Ricci, who died in Italy; a brother, Anthony Ricci; a sister, Marfisa Colaianni, and a son-in-law, Dwayne Gallentine.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls where prayers will be recited on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Parish, with Father Kim Schreck as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, North Sewickley Twp.
Full military honors will be conducted by The Beaver County Special Unit on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the cemetery.

YOUNGSTOWN – There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at the Immaculate Conception Church with Celebrant Rev. Msgr. John A. Zuraw for Emma M. Bondi, 97, who passed away Monday afternoon, Jan. 12.
Emma was born Sept. 16, 1911 in Saone, di Trento, Italy, the daughter of Bartolo and Elizabeth (Buganza) Bondi and came to the United States in 1929.
Emma was a housekeeper as well as a homemaker and nanny. She loved animals, the outdoors and was an avid gardener. She was a member of the church.
Emma will always be remembered by her brother, Louis (Mary) Bondi of Liberty Township; several nieces and nephews, Bertha (Joe) Hill of Struthers, Antoinette Marotti of Girard, Elizabeth Como of Youngstown, Mary Ann (Jim) Bozdog of Hubbard, Marilyn Como of Girard, Danny (Linda) Bondi of Austintown, David (Cindy) Como of Youngstown, Bobby (Priscilla) Bondi of New Castle, and John (Diane) Bondi of Austintown; and many great-nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Mario Bondi and a sister, Louise Como.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until time of the Mass on Friday at the church.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.

BOARDMAN – There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Luke Church, Boardman with Father Joseph Fata officiating, preceded by a 8:50 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, for Anthony Frazzini, 90, who peacefully passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at his residence.
Anthony will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends.
He was born July 30, 1921, in San Pietro, Avellano, Italy and moved to the United States in 1948. Anthony was the son of Filiberto and Nice (DiIullo) Frazzini.
Anthony was a tailor for over 38 years and was employed at Kaufman Department Store and then retired from Strouss Department Store.
He was a member of the National Italian Sports Hall of Fame, and a charter member of St. Luke Church, its Holy Name Society, was an adult server, usher and played on their bocce team.
He enjoyed playing bocce, spending time with his family and friends, mall walking, and gardening along with being a huge sports fan especially soccer.
His wife, the former Nelia S. Sozio, whom he married Aug. 12, 1950, died Sept. 15, 1996.
He leaves behind to hold on to his memories, a brother-in-law, Renato (Ines) Sozio; his nieces and nephews, Phil Busico, with whom he made his home, Angela Christinisen, Louis Sozio, Joseph Sozio, Anna (Bret) Parks, Sandra Sozio, and Marialisa (Mark) Clark; grandnephews Philip (Nicole) Busico, David Busico, and Michael (Lesley) Busico; and his great nieces and nephews, Olivia and Vinny Busico, Christopher, Matthew, and Elizabeth Sozio, Emily and Andrew Clark, and Maylina Coggiano.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dora Busico.
Friends may call today, Dec. 2, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman.
Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown.
