Kentucky Cumberland County Sct.
I Milton King The Clerk of the County Court for said County, do Certify that the within last will & testament of Langston Pace deceased, was at the June term 1846 of the Cumberland County Court, proven by the oaths of Reubin Alexander & Ingram Nunn the two subscribing witnesses thereto, and ordered to be recorded.
And the same is duly recorded in my office in Will book D page - 403.
Given under my hand this 26th day of June 1846
M. King"
Note by WRW:
The copy of the will provided by Charlotte (Pace) Contatore. I copied the will exactly as it reads, the original had some mis-spellings and many words within a sentence were capitalized, different than we would write it today. In addition, Langston's wife Amelia's name was written first as "Milley", next as "Milly" and then again later as "Milley".
Here are some things I found interesting about the will: daughter Sarah (Pace) Bryant, wife of Jesse Bryant was called Sally in the will. Daughter Mary (Pace) Williams, wife of John Williams was called Polly. Four daughters all married a Hutchens; Nancy, Jane, Lucy and Permelia. Dr. F. J Hutchens was first married to Nancy T. Pace and later to Permelia Pace. Were all these Hutchens brothers by chance? All 11 children were mentioned in the will. Only one was singled out for special consideration, Permelia received a horse. Also interesting, the listing of the "Negroes".
Directions to the Pace Cemetery where Langston and number of other Pace relatives are buried: It is located near Waterview, in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Going east on 90, turn south just past Sewell's Market on Waterview Road. Go one mile, turn left on Noah Hollow Road. Go 1 mile, turn left on Stover Road. Go .4 mile to end of road. Cemetery is behind a white house on right.

The only reference I found to their twin sons, was in Mary's
Obituary "...and to this union three children were born, twin
brothers, Daniel and Charles, having preceeded their mother
in death..."
None of the other handed down letters or material says
