Scotia arriving at the Port of New York, 10 Feb 1891

This Page last updated on .

The manifest for the 10 Feb 1891 arrival shows the Scotia sailed from Naples and Palermo, Italy.

I tried to find each of these people in the Sant'Eufemia a Maiella birth records. I'm still looking.

Michele Fattore 32 Labourer 1859          2011 Nov - Michele may have some connection to Raffaele del Tondo and Fillippo Pantalone. Per Raffaele's great-granddaughter, Diane del Tondo Rogers: "There's a story that Raffaele came to the U.S. in the late 1800s with 2 friends - Filippo Pantalone and Michele Fattore.  The 3 are said to have committed a crime and spent some time in jail.  Michele Fattore died during this time and Raffaele kept a promise to his friend by returning to Italy to marry his widow Dominica DiNardo.  I can't help but wonder what crime was involved."

Possible: 1900 census, Trout Lake, San Miquel, CO - Paul A. diNardo, 25y, born Oct 1874 in Italy, immigrated 1890, permanent alien.

1911 US Passport application gives DOB.

See GED file for more details. If this is the correct person, he is part of the diNardo family that settled in Baltimore, MD.
Antonio diPietrantonio 24 Labourer 1867 Microfiled birth records not available for this year.       In the record, this name is hard to read, it may by Vito Antonio diPietro. If that is the case, he is probably not from SEaM.
